Memorial tribute
When Esteban Vicente passed away in 2001, Harriet wanted to keep the garden as beautiful as possible,
always with Esteban in mind. She said the garden was a tribute to his memory.
When Harriet died in 2007, the Bridgehampton house was sold, and the garden disappeared.
The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Esteban Vicente wanted to restore that tribute, recreating a part of the garden,
in the place where their ashes rest, in the courtyard of the museum, surrounding their grave.
